Our target

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the design and testing target. This is a commitment to ongoing work, not a claim that every possible browser, assistive-technology combination or third-party destination is free of barriers.

Features built into the site

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, articles, navigation and time elements.
  • A visible skip link for keyboard users.
  • High-contrast text and visible keyboard focus indicators.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow for mobile and high zoom.
  • Alternative text for meaningful article visuals; decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Menu controls with programmatic labels and expanded state.
  • Reduced animation when the operating system requests reduced motion.
  • No autoplay audio or video, flashing content, drag-only controls or time-limited reading.
  • Article reading progress is decorative and does not hide content.
  • Print styles that remove navigation and preserve article text.

Known limitations

The shared site navigation and 18+ confirmation use JavaScript. With JavaScript disabled, article and policy content remains in the HTML and the main page includes a basic no-script navigation, but some secondary pages may require browser navigation or direct links.

External primary-source documents may be PDFs or pages in another language and are controlled by their publishers. We identify PDF and non-English sources where practical, but cannot guarantee their accessibility.

The generated editorial banners are complex atmospheric images. Their information function is limited; all factual content appears in text so no article depends on reading detail from an image.

Alternative formats

If a page, article or cited document creates a barrier, ask for the Nordeli Vane material in a practical alternative format. We can provide plain text or a simplified document for our original content. We may need to direct requests for third-party source conversion to the original publisher.

Report a barrier

Email access@nordelivane.com with:

  • the page URL;
  • what you were trying to do;
  • the barrier you encountered;
  • your browser, device or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it;
  • the format or resolution that would help.

Do not include medical documentation. We only need enough information to understand and address the barrier.

Technical compatibility

The site is designed for current versions of major browsers with standards-based HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It does not require a proprietary plug-in. Text can be enlarged through browser controls, and layouts are designed to remain usable at narrow widths.
